Authors visit SJS
Authors Ellie Sandal and Sam Sedgman came to visit pupils at Stamford Junior School this month.
Ellie visited to show Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 her new book “Balancing Bernie”. They were able to ask question about her career as a illustrator and author and what the process of making a book is. She also taught them step by step how to draw “Bernie” just like from the book.
Sam Took Years 3 to 6 through a mystery writing workshop to help them write their own stories just like his “Adventures on Trains” series.
Thank you to Mrs Stratford and the SJS PA for organising and funding these visits.
