Boarders take a splash at the Rutland Aquapark
Boarding students at the Stamford Schools have visited the Aquapark at Rutland Water as a fun activity to welcome them back to the Schools.
Over the weekend around 20 boarders spanning Years 7-9 joined together for an action filled trip to Rutland water’s Aquapark. The students were from the St Martins House at Stamford High School and Byard House at Stamford School.
The aquapark was the highlight of a weekend of activities where students also enjoyed pizza and popcorn for a movie night, sports, Saturday clubs and their first Chapel Service of the academic year.
Miss Davies, Houseparent of Byard House, said the trip was a “fabulous way for the boys to expend energy and get to know the girls from SHS”.
