Charlotte celebrates gold at British Junior Rowing Championships
Whilst studying diligently for her GCSE examinations, Year 12 student Charlotte Bolton competed alongside her team in the final of the British Junior Rowing Championships in July this year, winning a gold medal for the Isle of Ely in WJ16 Quad.
Her recent success adds to an already impressive track record of achievements last year where she won a gold medal and set a new GB record in the mixed junior relay at the British Rowing Indoor Championship (BRIC). This follows her title of women’s junior national champion with her partner Poppy at the junior national rowing championships in the preceding spring.
Charlotte continues to pursue a rigorous training programme whilst studying Art, Biology and Psychology at A level.
