Christmas Activities for Evergreen
Students across the Stamford Schools have been raising money and collecting and creating gifts for the Evergreen Care Trust’s annual Christmas Tea Party.
Younger students at Stamford School and Stamford High School have made 490 Christmas cards and gift tags to give to the attendees of the party, with older students writing poems. Nearly 200 shortbread gifts have also been donated by the Schools’ community.
Thirty guests from the Evergreen Care Trust were invited to the Schools in December for their annual tea party with many enthusiastic helpers.
Students have been raising money throughout this half term in form groups, by hosting bake sales and fairs. The money raised has covered the cost of the party, as well as a cash donation to the Evergreen Care Trust charity.
Thank you to all the students and staff involved for making this such a special event for some of those in our community.
