Combined Cadet Force members complete their ‘Skill at Arms’ Course

During the half term holiday, 24 members of the Stamford Schools’ Combined Cadet Force have taken part in a three day ‘Skill at Arms’ course using three different types of weapons. These included the Scorpio Air Rifle, the Cadet Small Bore Target Rifle and the L98A2 Cadet GP rifle.

 

CCF Skill at Arms Course

Students from across all three sections (RN, RAF and Army) were taught the correct, responsible and safe handling of weapons. The students also completed their Weapons Handling Test, enabling them to go on blank firing exercises and live range packages.

Congratulations to all students who completed the course.
