Dance Showcase 2022

Students at the Stamford Schools have taken part in the annual dance showcase.

Seventy students from Years 7 to 9 have taken part, rehearsing throughout the Autumn/Winter term at lunchtimes and after school.

This year’s theme was based on the fairytale Snow White and the different parts of the story were told in an eclectic mix of dance styles from Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, and Dance Drama to commercial.

Director of the Showcase, Mrs N Watson, said: “The students enjoyed being involved in the filmed and streamed Showcase of Dance last academic year however, were excited this year to perform once again live to an audience; they have rehearsed tirelessly, performed beautifully and I am delighted with them all.”
