History of SES Spanish Exchange

Our Schools Archivist, James Buckman, has researched a series of the Schools’ foreign exchange programmes. So far, we have explored the French (read more) , German (read more) and Russian (read more) exchanges. Below are excerpts from the archives considering the Spanish exchange, which has been occurring in some form for nearly 30 years.

Spanish Exchange

Historically, exchange trips have been travelling from the Schools to Spain for almost 30 years. The current Spanish Exchange Trip began in 2002, and saw Stamford Endowed Schools establish connections with the Instituto Eusebio Da Guarda in the centre of La Coruña, Galicia in north western Spain.
