Oliver starts journey with Huntingdon Gymnastics
Oliver M, Year 2 at Stamford Junior School, has been selected for the Pre Level 1 Development Gymnastics Squad at Huntingdon Gymnastics.
Oliver began in the ‘improver class’ at Huntingdon Gymnastics in September 2020, and was quickly asked to trial for the Pre Level 1 Development Squad. Following his successful 6 week trial he has joined the squad, and is now training 3 times a week.
Oliver’s dream for the future is ‘to be a GB gymnast’ and follow in the steps of Olympian Louis Smith MBE, who trained at Huntingdon himself. His shorter term goal is to make the boys squad when he is old enough, but for now he tells us that he is ‘very excited that he is a part of the squad and cannot wait to compete in future competitions’.
Good luck Oliver!
