RS FEVA World Championships 2017
Newly elected President of the International RS Feva association Emma Crawford (nee Parker, SHS 1983 – 1988), was delighted to meet 3 competitors from Stamford Endowed Schools: Alice Lucy (Year 10) Issy Leetch (year 7) and Alex Middleton (year 11) at the 2017 RS FEVA World Championships in Medemblik, The Netherlands.
Looking back at her time at Stamford High School Emma said: “I have very fond memories of my first ever trip in a dinghy on Rutland Water with fellow alumni Judy Nixon and I am delighted to see Stamford students competing on a world stage. I very much hope to see them again in Florida or Weymouth in 2018.”
