Sixth Form students visit China
An excitable group of our Stamford Endowed Schools Sixth Form students travelled to China for a week within half term on a joint Geography, Business and Economics trip.
Starting their adventure, the group visited the Temple of Heaven Park in the Dongcheng District, Beijing. Within the following days they proceeded to partake in a dumpling making masterclass, visit the Great Wall of China, Forbidden City and Terracotta Army. A day in traditional China brought a home cooked meal and an experience of Hutong rickshaw rides.
For the final part of their trip, the group travelled from Beijing to Xian on an overnight train. The final days of the trip were action packed; exampling Shanghai by night and tours of both the Yakult and Baosteel factories.
