Stamford Reach National Cross Country Finals
The U15 cross country team took part in the ESSA Cross Country Cup national finals at Woodbridge School. After completing a challenging course, the boys achieved 23rdposition on the day out of 600 schools. The team did extremely well to reach the finals after qualifying in 3rd place from the regional round at Mount St Mary’s College. Individually, Sam Hughes came 21st, with Tom Hattee a second behind in 23rd. The whole team of Sam Hughes, Tom Hattee, James Rothwell, Oliver Macintosh, Elliot Dee and Sam Gordon-Kerr should be very proud, and the future continues to look bright for cross country at Stamford.
