Students take on fundraising challenge
A student at Stamford High School has taken on a sporting challenge with her brother over the Easter holidays, raising money for the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK.
Anna L, Year 8, is going to score 3000 netball goals in the month of April (equating to 100 each day) to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. This follows her previous fundraising challenge, where she climbed Mt Snowdon, raising money for the Stroke Association.
Anna’s brother, Hari, is going to run 1000 laps of his garden in April (33 laps each day) to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Anna and Hari set out to raise £100 each for the charities, but have already raised nearly £600 between them at just half way through their challenges.
