This week has seen the 77th  anniversary of D-Day.  In our Chapel we have memorials to three Old Stamfordians who lost their lives on the beaches of Normandy.

The Chaplain, the Rev Mark Goodman speaks about the importance of memory in our lives.

Prayers and readings are from Ben O’Neill, Assistant Chaplain.

The Chapel Choir, directed by Giles Turner, sings the hymn, Thy hand O God has guided and the Anthem is For the Fallen, words by Laurence Binyon in setting by Douglas Guest.

Organ music from David Lovell Brown includes excerpts from Nimrod  by Elgar and On Jordan’s Bank the Baptist cry.

Today, Ben O’Neill, Assistant Chaplain, explores the meaning of Corpus Christi, the festival which celebrates Holy Communion, that falls during half term.

The reflection is introduced by the Rev Mark Goodman
