Year 5 wowed by Tim Peake’s Spacecraft Tour
15 Year 5 pupils visited the Tim Peake exhibition at Peterborough Cathedral as part of the Junior School’s Saturday activity programme. The pupils were enthralled by Tim Peake’s suit, and his landing vessel, including its parachute, and had the opportunity to read, think and ask questions about his return to earth in the magnificent surroundings of Peterborough Cathedral. They also visited Peterborough Museum, which gave them a fascinating insight into the history of our local area, including the French prisoner of war camp at Norman Cross, the development of the city and its Stone and Iron Age history.
