Your Registrar: Miss Oswald
The first step in the Sixth Form admissions process is to visit the Schools. This gives you the opportunity to tour our campus and facilities, meet our Head of Sixth Form, and to find out more about the subjects your child is interested in studying. If you decide to make an application, please complete our application form and return along with the £100 application fee.

Sixth Form Admissions
The Sixth Form at Stamford is a fantastic community of 400 students in an environment that supports and helps its students in every way it can. A vibrant co-educational community, our Sixth Form offer 27 A Level courses, 2 BTECs and hundreds of co-curricular opportunities.
Upon leaving Stamford, our students become life-long members of the Old Stamfordian community where they can receive support, guidance, advice and events.
At Stamford, you will experience a bespoke Sixth Form experience that plays to your strengths. We won’t pigeon-hole you, or try to dictate where your future should lie. We won’t judge you against archaic measures of worth, or limit your creativity and individuality. Instead, we will value you for your individual strengths, passions and personality; your attitude towards others, and the effort you make to be your best self. You are the only one of you. The Sixth Form at Stamford will help you unlock your future self.
We will ask for predicted GCSE grades, latest school reports and preferred subject choices. We will also request a reference from your current school. All Sixth Form offers are conditional, depending on satisfactory performance at GCSE. If, for any reason, your child is not taking GCSEs, we will also welcome an application however the process will differ slightly. Please contact Miss Oswald to discuss your options further.
