Old Stamfordian raises money for NHS charities
An Old Stamfordian is raising money for ‘NHS Charities Together’ through sale of her artwork posters.
Annabelle Wells, who finished at the Stamford Endowed Schools last year, is currently studying Graphic Design at Leeds and decided to put her artistic skills to use during these unprecedented times.
Having designed a series of A3 posters, she is selling them for £7 each with free delivery, with all profits being donated to a national charity. NHS Charities Together links 250 charities across the UK, who cumulatively donate £1 million a day to the NHS.
After just two days of fundraising, Annabelle has raised £125 profit, but has high hopes to raise more. If you are interested in donating, please email email@example.com, or visit Annabelle’s Instagram account or Depop to purchase one of her posters.
Discussing her fundraising efforts, Annabelle said: “In these worrying times I wanted to do my part to help raise money for the NHS, so I designed these posters for “NHS charities together” to show my appreciation for everyone risking their lives currently.
So far I have been overwhelmed with the generosity of the people who have already supported the charity and bought one.“
