Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the Schools on a normal working day.

You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the Principal and senior team over tea and coffee.

Junior School (Reception – Year 6):
Wednesday 15 May 8.45am – 10am

Senior School (Year 7 – Year 11):
Wednesday 15 May 10am – 11.30am

Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.

We are delighted to announce that the Stamford Schools have been awarded Independent School of the Year for Community Outreach 2021. The Good Schools Guide

The Good Schools Guide is an independent and impartial directory 'written by parents, for parents'. 

Available both online and published annually, the guide describes itself as 'the straight-talking, independent, unbiased and fun guide to UK state and private schools'.

Over forty writers review independent and state schools on a regular basis – visiting, talking to parents, staff and pupils and collecting the valuable knowledge and insights mere data cannot provide.

The Independent Schools Council

The Independent Schools Council (ISC) was founded in 1973 and currently represents over 1,300 independent schools educating over 500,000 children in the UK. 

The aim of ISC is to promote and protect the independent education sector. The ISC achieve this through: engaging with policy and public affairs, providing Media and communications support, and collecting sector-specific data and conducting research including the ICS Census.

The Independent Association of Prep Schools

The Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) is a schools' association with over 670 leading prep schools in membership.

The Primary Science Quality Mark

The Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) is the only national award scheme to develop and celebrate the quality of science teaching and learning in primary schools, and is achieved through a year-long process of audit, action and evidence-based reflection.

Stamford Junior School were specifically praised for their engagement of the whole-school community in the teaching and learning of science.
